๐ป What Pains in the Ass
Pac-Nerd monsters are incredibly disruptive. They show no respect for the player's workflow. You're trying to clear dots โ a simple, well-defined task โ and they constantly interfere: blocking corridors, cutting off routes, forcing you to backtrack.
And then there's the worst part: they actually eat the player.
This is catastrophic for productivity. When a monster eats you, all momentum is lost. Your progress resets. The flow state is destroyed.
Worse, the system decrements your player count, reducing your total runway and trashing your safety net.
From a productivity standpoint, the entire architecture seems fundamentally misguided. Instead of helping the player complete tasks efficiently, the system is built around constant interruption, arbitrary punishment, and resource depletion.
