❌ Lizard Branding

“Branding” is nothing more than squatting on one of the alphabet’s cooler letters, a glyph already pressed into service by every model, series, and product desperate to sound sharp, future-tense. Model this. Series that. Generation X. A character that belonged to no one and everyone long before some boardroom tried to decree it a “brand.”

The lizard brain loves shortcuts. Shapes collapse into the bluntest possible thing: the cross, broken or stylized; the mark (of the beast??); the forbidden; the cool. No matter how many design firms polish it, no matter how many campaigns try to inflate it with meaning, it remains a stock glyph on the keyboard. Not even derivative—just a preloaded rune from the Unicode table.

What once conjured myth has dried up into menopausal letter-squatting by men deluded enough to think they can colonize the alphabet itself.
