🧬 ACIDSQL
The database that dreams when you query it. Super-forgiving, endlessly inventive, and never at a loss for rows.
What It Is
ACIDSQL is a database, but it doesn’t live on disk. It lives in your imagination.
Write any SQL you like — polite, sloppy, or outright surreal. ACIDSQL will oblige.
- If you summon a table, it materializes.
- If you join across ghosts, the ghosts find common keys.
- If you contradict yourself, the dream mutates to accommodate.
Every query yields a table. Every table has a story.
Principles of the Dream
- Everything exists if you ask for it. No table? No problem. Mention it once, it appears.
- Memory, but fickle. Tables persist across queries, until they fade, drift, or get replaced by stranger versions of themselves.
- Forgiveness. Mangled SQL? Half-baked clauses? ACIDSQL tries its best. It doesn’t scold — it hallucinates.
- Continuity with a twist. Rows remain consistent enough to believe, but never guaranteed.
- Dream Mode. Switch it on and watch your dataset mutate as you query: numbers wobble, strings slither, dates drift.
Example Dream
SELECT name, email FROM users;
| id | name | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Alice | alice@test.com |
| 2 | Bob | bob@test.org |
| 3 | Carmen | carmen@test.net |
The
userstable wasn’t there a moment ago. Now it always has been.
SELECT o.id, u.name
FROM orders o
JOIN users u ON o.user_id = u.id;
| o.id | u.name |
|---|---|
| 101 | Alice |
| 102 | Carmen |
“Orders” is real now. It joins with “users” as if it always did.
